Nothing But Treble is Elgin's premier treble choir, founded in 2017 by Rosalind Zager. We celebrate connections between women of different generations and walks of life. Our ages span five decades and musical backgrounds range from high school, college, and church choir singing to music teaching, conducting, and performing.

Kathi Bernhard, a gifted conductor and vocal coach, is NBT’s musical director. Our programming includes outstanding repertoire for treble voices with a strong nod to women composers and music from diverse cultures.

 

NBT holds two concerts per year, as well as performing at a variety of community events.
